Yummiest Mosaic Cake lid ~
Simply one of my best creations, using some of the finest vintage china
in various intricate rose patterns, to include Limoge and more...
I've listed several photos so that you can see the various sides. One side has
one of my hand-cut hearts that I cut from one of the same patterns used
on the cake lid.
This is a vintage aluminum cake lid/topper, that had a wooden knob at the
top, which I replaced with a gem of a glass knob, reminiscent of the glass
knobs used during the Depression era. The cut of this knob is called
'10 pts.' Just look at how it catches wonderful light from all directions!
